Why doesn't my Compare to Prior Period look right?

Did you choose a custom date range?

When working with a custom date range instead of the default pre-populated options with the Compare to Prior Period feature, TapAnalytics will compare the exact number of days you select to the exact number of days in the prior period.

As an example, when you select a custom date range such as December 1-December 31st, we are actually comparing to the 31 days prior instead of the last month since the custom date range is based on days.

The logic for the 'Prior Period' pre-set is that it takes into account the type of current period being applied.

Here is a chart highlighting the prior period behavior for various current period pre-set options.  A custom date range is based on days so the prior period will be based on days too.
