Margin Rules

Margin Rules allow you to add a margin or a markup to the various cost associated metrics that pull through into our dashboard. 
  1. Click on Administration.
  2. Click on Margin rules.
  3. Click on the plus sign(+) next to the Margin rule header.
  4. Select a Client from the drop down menu.
  5. Choose a Service from the drop down menu. This is the service to which the Margin or Markup will be applied.
  6. Click into Start Date and enter the date on which the Margin should begin.
  7. Click into End Date and enter the date on which the Margin should end.
  8. Choose which Calculation Type you would like: Margin or Markup..
  9. Enter the percent (%) for either Margin or Markup.
  10. Click Save changes 
  11. Go to the Manage Data Sources screen and click on Update dashboard
  12. Make sure you remove the cost metrics in the Data Profile and replace them with client cost metrics!
