Bulk Import and Edit Reports Scheduler 

This feature will allow you to import many Report Scheduler all at once rather than creating them one by one in the dashboard. It will also allow you to edit all of your current Report Scheduler all at once.

How to Bulk Import

  • Please note that before you can create a report for a given client or client group they must exist in the dashboard.
  • The column for Report scheduler ID is something our system generates and uses to determine if the action is to edit or create new entries so do not alter or add your own.
  
 
  1. Click on Reporting.
  2. Click on Reports Scheduler.
  3. Click on the Import CSV button next to the Report Scheduler header.
  4. Click on Download CSV headers to get the file format the information needs to be in. Note if  you already have existing Report Scheduler, you can Export them to CSV and use that file as a guideline to add new reports in the blank rows.
  5. Open the downloaded file.
  6. In the  file:
    1. Enter the Client or Client Group the report is for
    2. Specify the Recipient email addresses that should be receiving the reports separated by commas
    3. Enter the Frequency of reporting - Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Semi-monthly, and Monthly
      1. If it is a Weekly Report fill in the Day of the Week the report is going to be sent - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday
      2. If it is a Monthly Report fill in the Day of the Month that it is going to be sent on - Should be a number 1 - 28 (takes February as the base line)
      3. If it is a Bi-weekly Report fill in the Start Date for this report - Note all dates should be in the yyyy-mm-dd format
    4. Enter a Send Until Date if the report has a known day it should end
    5. Specify what Report format you want to send - HTML (inline), HTML (email attachment), PDF (email attachment), Excel (email attachment), and Word (email attachment). Note Elite Reports can only be sent as PDF
    6. Enter the Report Content that will be included in the report - Data Sources, Channels, or Data Sources and Channels. Please note that Channels (as well as Data Sources and Channels) are not available on the Standard product
    7. Fill in the Status of the report
    8. Specify a Report Cover​ if you want one
    9. If you are sending the report as an attachment specify what the Attachment Name should be - example "monthly_report"
    10. Specify whether the report should Compared to previous period
    11. Choose the Report Type - Either Elite or Standard
      1. If Elite specify the Elite Dashboard Name that is being sent
      2. If Standard make sure to specify the Data Profile being applied and whether or not it should Include Charts
  7. Save the file to your computer.
  8. Go back to the dashboard and Click the Import CSV button.
  9. Click Select CSV file and choose the file you just saved
  10. Click Upload
  11. This will bring you to a Report scheduler​ Import summary page which details what worked and what failed. You can export the failed report so that you can fix the failed entries.
  12. Click on Close and you are done!
  

How to Bulk Edit

  1. Click on Reporting
  2. Click on Reports Scheduler 
  3. Click the Export to CSV button that is next to the Report Scheduler header
  4. Open the file that downloads
  5. Edit any of the fields that you want to change - LEAVE THE REPORT SCHEDULER​ ID ALONE
  6. Save that file to your computer
  7. Go to the dashboard and Click the Import CSV button
  8. Click Select CSV file and choose the file you just saved
  9. Click Upload
  10. This will bring you to a Report scheduler​ Import summary page which details what worked and what failed. You can export the failed report so that you can fix the failed entries
  11. Click on Close and you are done!
